Introducing Vencapital's Summer Class of 2022!

We are thrilled to welcome our 7th cohort of minority and female aspiring venture capital investors. They were selected from a pool of over 170 applications and share our deep passion for technology and startups. The cohort is 50% female and were carefully selected to represent the racial and gender diversity we want to see in venture capital. As they embark on this journey, they will be learning from VC mentors and instructors in the program to gain a better understanding of the venture financing and deal-making process. During the 8 weeks program, they will learn how to scout for startups and get the opportunity to work with some of the top-tie VC firms in our network as analysts and venture scouts.

As a minority-focused VC fellowship program, we are committed to empowering the next generation of Black, Latinx, Asian, LGBTQ, and female Venture Capitalists, and we do so by sourcing, training, and placing qualified minorities and female talents into venture firms to improve their talent pipeline and give fellows an opportunity to get their foot in the door. The program is led by experienced VC mentors and instructors from firms such as NEA, Andreessen Horowitz, .406 Ventures, Index Ventures, Dell Technology Capital, Glasswing Ventures, Capria VC, Underscore VC, Beyond Capital Fund, NVCA, and many more!

Our program partners remain committed to our mission, and the work we do would not be possible without their support. This year we welcomed new partner firms into the program and became an affiliate member of Angel Capital Association (ACA) and look forward to working collaboratively with other mission aligned organizations to improve diverse talent resources and make venture financing more accessible to everyone.
